Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch Bluetooth Key Features

Quick Answer

The Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch with Bluetooth offers multiple unlock methods, Auto-Lock with DoorSense, and the ability to share and track entry codes, making keyless entry simple and secure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What unlock methods does the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch Bluetooth support?

It supports touchscreen keypad entry, the Yale Access app via Bluetooth, and a physical key as a backup. The touchscreen wakes on touch and allows you to enter a code.

How does Auto-Lock with DoorSense work?

DoorSense uses a sensor to detect whether the door is closed. When enabled, Auto-Lock automatically locks the door after a set time once the door is shut, so you never have to worry about forgetting to lock up. You can adjust the auto-lock delay in the Yale Access app to match your routine.

Can I share access with family or guests?

Yes, you can create and share permanent or temporary entry codes through the Yale Access app. You can also see who came and went with the activity log, and revoke codes at any time.

Does the lock work without Wi-Fi?

Yes, the Bluetooth version works entirely over Bluetooth, so you don't need a Wi-Fi connection for day-to-day use. However, remote access and smart home integrations require the separate Yale Wi-Fi Bridge accessory. If you want remote control from anywhere, consider adding the Wi-Fi Bridge.
