83 Select Deadbolt

The keyway is cut so precisely that the key slides in with almost no play, which you notice every single time you unlock it. Two months of daily use and the finish still looks new, no scratches around the cylinder at all.

Installed this on our back door last weekend and the bolt slides into the strike plate with a really satisfying, solid click. The mechanism feels heavy and well machined, not like the flimsy one it replaced.

The bolt slides smooth as butter and the key turn feels solid every time, no wiggle or grinding. Installed it on the back door in about 30 minutes with the template included. Nice to have something this sturdy without paying premium prices.
